Rift White - White Oak (Quercus alba) is native to North America, and is the official state tree of Maryland. It is a dense, strong, stable wood. White oak is what is traditionally used in American Craftsman furniture, also in boatbuilding, and the finest whiskey and wine barrels.

Cherry - Cherry trees can be found in Europe, western Asia and parts of northern Africa. The finest Cherry timbers come from Pennsylvania.

Black - Our black floating shelves are the same as our U-Paint MDF shelves except a lot less work. We paint them for you with low-sheen black lacquer.

Chocolate Espresso - These are espresso floating shelves, specifically chocolate-espresso stain on oak, topcoated with clear catalyzed lacquer.

MDF - Ready to paint floating shelves are MDF edged with maple veneer to save time on getting a nice, smooth finish.
